Identified a crystal (I think) which looks a bit corroded on it's casing, labeled '48mhz'. Checked a couple of suspect traces with a multimeter, checked ok. Resoldered the larger 330uf caps (as I don't have any to replace them with right now) and replaced two 47uf caps. Apparently it did have vertical white lines but now just blank screen.Ĭhecked over first of all for physical damage, 5 caps on the sub PCB either had broken legs or solder joints. Hi all I'm brand new here and I'm no expert (though I know a thing or two) but thought I would post my progress on this here and hopefully field some advice too.
